Colliers International has been recognised for innovation and excellence in property marketing at the 2018 REIV Commercial & Industrial Marketing Awards.
The awards showcase the best in commercial and industrial advertising, marketing and promotion across Victoria.
Colliers International took out two major awards:
• Best Campaign by a Large Agency (overall): 274-278 Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne.
• Best Leasing Campaign (Budget Over $10,000): Building 2, 658 Church Street, Richmond.
274–278 Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne is a blue-chip retail investment property located in the heart of the Mall, the most exclusive and tightly held retail precinct in Australia. The property had been held by the same family for the past 60 years, carrying significant sentimental value for the vendor.
Colliers International’s Melbourne City Sales team of Oliver Hay, Matt Stagg, Daniel Wolman and David Sia designed and implemented a bespoke marketing campaign, which resulted in a sale price of substantially more than the $40 million targeted.
Colliers International were formally appointed to lease Building 2, 658 Church St, Richmond in late 2017. Leasing agent Travis Myerscough executed an engaging and sophisticated campaign which resulted in significant leasing success, including a deal signed with 7 Eleven within six months of Colliers International’s formal appointment.
John Marasco, Colliers International State Chief Executive – Victoria, said the results were testament to Colliers International’s commitment to industry leadership and innovation.
“Our team strives to raise the bar in every campaign we work on in order to deliver service excellence, quality solutions and outstanding results. Property marketing plays a pivotal role in this process,” he said.
The winning campaigns will go into the running for the Gold Award for Overall Excellence to be presented at the 2018 REIV Awards for Excellence gala event on October 25.
