Spring sales campaign for development site in Golden Bay

A sales campaign has been launched to find a new buyer for a parcel of land with flexible zoning in the centre of Golden Bay.

Located just 1km from the ocean, the 7501sqm site is next to housing, schools and is across the road from the site earmarked for the Golden Bay Shopping Centre.

The campaign will be run by Colliers International’s Tory Packer and Tim Scott who said the property’s commercial and residential zoning would make it of interest to a cross-section of developers and investors.

“Golden Bay’s master planned community and the coastal lifestyle it offers has been a popular drawcard for home owners and developers and we are expecting the campaign to generate a number of bids,” Ms Packer said.

Bordered by Warnbro Sound Avenue, Aurea Boulevard, Thundelarra Drive and Talisker Bend, the land has a Commercial/Residential R60 zoning.

Mr Scott said the site’s combined road frontage of 315m included exposure to Warnbro Sound Avenue, a key access road to Golden Bay and other coastal communities in the City of Rockingham.

“The property has the potential for commercial, multi-lot residential and mixed-use concepts and combined with strong population forecasts for the greater Rockingham area, there will be strong interest from local developers,” Mr Scott said.

The property will be sold by an expressions of interest campaign which closes on November 7.
