The latest suburban tenant to arrive in Perth’s CBD is insurance firm Knightcorp, which recently moved into an office at 5 Mill Street.
The new lease, which makes Knightcorp the building’s biggest tenant, was negotiated by Colliers International’s Dustin May who said the brokerage firm took advantage of competitive incentives to relocate its expanding business into a fitted out office with Swan River views.
“Knightcorp, which relocated from Claremont, occupies the building’s seventh floor and has also taken up signage rights to the building,” Mr May said.
“Leasing sentiment in the CBD is gradually improving and we are seeing steady demand to accommodate expanding tenants and we are also seeing a broader range of businesses looking for space in the city.”
Knightcorp managing director Wayde Knight said the move into the CBD was an important part of the firm’s growth plans.
“With St George’s Terrace just around the corner, we are now more accessible to our clients and there has also been new efficiencies for our staff,” Mr Knight said.
