Patrick is a WELL Accredited Professional, CBD and NABERS Accredited Assessor and Green Star Accredited Professional. His focus is on helping organisations satisfy the needs of the building users thus improving the productivities of individual spaces and entire buildings. He has carried out a number of occupant satisfaction surveys and building assets condition and performance assessments for many office, retail, industrial and educational facilities and supported blue chip, governmental and not for proft organisations in developing sustainability strategies for individual assets and entire portfolios, as well as delivering real outcomes through project management and operational support.
With his strong interest in industrial ecology and systems thinking, he is working towards understanding the bigger picture around the life cycle of organizations, resources, processes, technologies and markets to deliver holistic, yet pragmatic strategies and solutions to his customers.

Repositioned Colliers International as WA's number 2 provider of Building Energy Efficiency Certificates under the national Commercial Building Disclosure program, delivering several dozens of NABERS Energy ratings every year; Achieved 5 star NABERS Energy and 4 star NABERS Indoor Environment ratings for the Colliers International (WA) office tenancy in Perth and won two CitySwitch Green Office Program's WA 2016 and 2018 Awards for Best Office under 2000m2. Piloted and rolled out NABERS Co-Assess rating tool to enhance transparency of tenant energy performance. Piloted an Energy Services package for comprehensive HVAC central plant upgrade in a high-rise office tower valued at over $1 million, funded over a ten year period using ongoing operational energy and maintenance cost savings. Project-managed business case, procurement, installation, operation and maintenance of cost-effective commercial scale solar pv systems for commercial, healthcare and retirement living facilities, cumulatively reducing GHG emissions by over 100tCO2-e annually. Helped a number of landlords achieve significant energy cost savings through energy procurement, tariff analysis and embedded network operation service offerings. Developed a new product line "Indigo" for Commercial Office Tenancies to get better transparency of energy use (Indigo Live Energy Monitoring Dashboard) and get a handle on delivering savings (Indigo Plus). Lectured Sustainability in Asset Management to Property Council of Australia's PCA Academy course and presented to several hundreds of property professionals on Health and Wellbeing at the Workplace for CitySwitch/Curtin University partnership program, Corenet Global and Landcorp.

Achieved 5 star Green Star Office V3 Design Rating (70 points) and industry-first comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment of a Commercial High-rise Building in Australia, Kings Square One, Perth. Subsequently, designed and delivered a Resource Use Benchmarking and Improvement Tool covering Design, Procurement, Construction and Operational phases of all kinds of Infrastructure Projects across Australia.
Championed new service offerings for existing buildings and property portfolios. Managed a total of 22 projects across 24 sites and 203 buildings, such as the planning of an energy-efficiency upgrade to achieve 5 star NABERS base building rating for 45 Clarence Street, Sydney. Also involved in large scale, iconic new developments such as Barangaroo Towers in Sydney, Brisbane Airport and Masdar City.
