Colliers International’s Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane offices had leases expiring within 18 months of each other. This presented a unique opportunity to reposition and reinvigorate the office accommodation in all three of these capital cities to achieve optimal business, brand and operational outcomes.
With the benefit of in-house Tenant Representation, Project Management, Design and Technology Solutions teams, we delivered a workplace strategy that would meet the demands of Colliers International, both today and for the future.

The key objectives of the OurSpace project were:
Attracting and retaining the best people for the business
Colliers International recognises that great people need great workspaces. In redesigning and re-invigorating the CBD office premises we’re taking the opportunity to introduce new and exciting spaces that reflect best practice and things of importance to our people.
Facilitating a collaborative and team based environment
We’ve listened to the feedback and created new environments that are welcoming, collaborative and productive places for teams to experience and enjoy. Teamwork is at the heart of the Colliers International culture and the new workspaces enable our people to work closely together.
Engaging clients in a way that suits their needs
The workspaces are a reflection of who we are and have been designed to impress and make welcome the many visitors to the offices, most importantly our clients. The goal was to create a consistent visitor experience across all three locations, in line with a client focussed culture. The Colliers Lounge on Level 30 is the cross-road for client connection and engagement for all three locations.
Technology is a key driver of our design and decision making. The aim was to optimise our systems and maximise the level of connectivity we have within the new office environments. This means enhanced productivity and an environment that enables and motivates our people to do their best work, with the right supporting technology.
Creating an efficient and sustainable workplace
We’ve created new workspaces with the long-term in mind. This means offering sustainable and energy efficient environments that reduce our paper use and carbon footprint, and minimise our environmental impact. Our staff enjoy a healthy working environment with equal access to natural light and more plants for improved air quality. Natural, high-quality finishes such as marble, oak timber and leather give the space a warm and welcoming feel that will stand the test of time.
The Colliers International OurSpace project presents an exciting time for all of us as we inspire our people to achieve better results, faster for their clients, and their careers. Come and visit one of our new workplaces and talk to us about your next property venture.
