Nick’s experience extends across a range of policy, corporate and operational roles throughout his 17 year career working for the Australian Government, and has provided him with an excellent understanding of Government activities and directions.

As National Director of Government Property Services, Nick is responsible for the implementation and co-ordination of our Commonwealth Government Business Plan to increase opportunities and revenue across the national business for Colliers International and its clients.

I am the National Director of Development for Colliers Australia, a member of the ACT Senior Leadership Team, and former State Chief Executive of Colliers Canberra.

 With 36 years of industry experience, I have been intimately involved in the ACT’s development sector and consulted on more than 500 office and residential projects, with a major focus on institutional grade assets. In my capacity as National Director of Development and agent, I am involved in the feasibility assessment of office and residential developments, the coordination of our agency business, client management, and the implementation of our ACT Business Plan and Growth Strategy.

 As a trusted advisor, I provide knowledge and opportunities to our valued clients that help them meet their organisational objectives and accelerate their success. The most fulfilling aspect of my role is being an integral part of and seeing major developments come to fruition and form part of our great city.

 I am committed to building a strong future for Canberra and the people that live here, taking a keen interest in assisting several not for profit and community groups. These roles include ACT Appeal Chairman for the Australian Olympic Committee, Board Member of the Canberra Raiders NRL Club, and  Patron of the Early Morning Centre  supporting the  Homless.

As Director, Residential for Colliers International in the ACT , Shane leads a team of real etsate professionals responsible for the marketing and sale of residential projects, land estates, residential development and Build-to-Rent sites and large englobo residential sales in Canberra and the surrounding region. 

Shane works closely with both the Canberra and National Residential businesses to pitch, list and manage a range of residential projects to ensure the best possible outcomes for our developer clients in the ACT and interstate. Providing expert advice on current and future market conditions, design, product mix and pricing of projects is the key to ensuring the very best return for developer clients. My clients rely on his solid research and market knowledge to assist them in making the best decisions for the success of their project.

As a long standing Director of the Canberra business, Shane is also a member of the Executive Leadership Team and works closely and collaboratively with other teams within Colliers International including capital markets, retail and commercial to provide high-level advice regarding their clients' property to service their requirements across all phases of their current and future developments.

Shane also has a close working relationship with Diana Sarcasmo, National Managing Director of Residential so that he is across new residential project marketing opportunities both locally and nationally, and so that local developer clients can be kept abreast of opportunities outside of the Nation's capital.

I have been a property valuer for 27 years and I am experienced in all facets of the industry including general residential, industrial and commercial valuation work, major asset valuations, property development, government consultancy and Lease Variation assessments.

I have strong relationships with the major lending institutions, government departments, developers and builders.

My career commenced after graduating from the University of Western Sydney in 1989 and has included several market cycles.  I have completed major property valuations throughout Australia and some overseas posts including Jakarta, Singapore, Port Moresby, Tonga and Samoa.

I achieved the status of Business Valuer after completing additional qualifications through the API/University of Western Sydney and a graduate diploma in Applied Finance and Investment Analysis.

My focus since joining Colliers in July 2006 has been on major commercial assets in the ACT and the management of large government portfolios on a local, national and international level.   

Aaron specialises in the leasing of office and retail space in the Canberra CBD, City Fringe, Parliamentary Triangle and key Town Centres in  focusing on areas greater than 500sqm.

Aaron has a strong focus on providing service excellence and commitment to delivering results which has seen a  consistent delivery over and above client expectations throughout his career so far.

Aaron prides himself on having a sound understanding of the Canberra commercial property market which has enabled him to provide sound advice to landlords and tenants and stay ahead of market trends.

As the  leader of the ACT Capital Markets and Investment Services businesses, Matthew specialises in the sale of CBD and Metro Office buildings, Strata Office, Retail, Industrial and Premium Investment assets. Matthew has positioned himself and his team at the forefront of the Canberra market, achieving the dominant market share over the past 3 years and transacting over $2b in sales. His efforts earnt the Colliers Canberra team the title of REIACT Commercial agency of the year for 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as REIA Commercial Agency of the year 2019.  In 2020,  as part of the Canberra agency team, Matthew and colleagues were inducted into the REIACT Hall of Fame.  In 2021 & 2022 Matthew and his team facilitated over $1.3b in sales throughout the ACT and other National Metro Markets.  Matthew was recently recognised as the ACT Commercial Agent of the Year for 2022 and REIA Commercial Salesperson of the Year for 2023.

35 years of commercial real estate and strategic property experience across all facets of commercial, industrial and retail property in Canberra, nationally and the Asia Pacific. I have  an extensive network and contacts within both Federal and ACT Government at policy and implementation levels and connected with the international Diplomatic community. For 13 years I led a team of 40 operators as Managing Director of Knight Frank Canberra also holding senior leadership positions within the Knight Frank National Executive. More recently active within the University sector specilaising in place-making and value creation  of underutilised property, facilities and vacant land .

Iain leads the Colliers Project Leaders business in Canberra ACT as National Director, Project Leaders & Strategic Government Leasing.

As a specialist in the industry, Iain has successfully delivered large complex projects and lease transactions Nationally. With over 143,000sqm worth of Commonwealth property lease transactions in the past five years, his expertise maximises the performance for every client and portfolio on both the Tenant and Landlord sides.

He has successfully delivered pre commitment lease transactions, commercial property, development and infrastructure projects with high profile clients, including Amalgamated Property Group with the Department of Agriculture, Quintessential Equity with Services Australia, AMP Capital with Australian Transport Safety Bureau, KM Property Funds with the ACCC, the Department of Defence, Qantas, the Anglican Church Property Trust and the Department of Home Affairs. He is an expert advisor in relation any Commonwealth Government process and can provide project leadership, advisory, development and project management services.

Phil re-joined Colliers  in 2020 as Director, Valuation & Advisory Services with over 45 years' experience  in the Property Industry.  Phil's current focus is on the valuation of major institutional grade commercial property, suburban retail,  industrial and commercial property.

Phil has over time acted as valuer and advisor for many of Australia's major property institutions, various government entities, banks and local & interstate property owners.

In addition to his predominant valuation role, Phil has over time acted in various other capacities in the Property Industry; including sales, leasing and development management of a large residential subdivision.

Josh specializes in the marketing and sale of residential land, development sites and new projects in the ACT, from englobo to mixed-use sites, land lots in master planned estates, suburban residential blocks in established suburbs and new apartments and townhouses.

Josh accelerates the success of his clients by developing and implementing strategies to achieve a premium price for their property. Services include marketing through Colliers International’s Asian platform, client reporting and liaison, marketing budget management, strategy design and implementation as well as due diligence information management.

The high level of service Josh provides has enabled him to build strong long-term partnerships with his clients and has resulted in numerous referrals. Josh’s enthusiasm and passion for the property industry coupled with his extensive knowledge and strong network of developer, investor and property consultant contacts has allowed him to achieve more than $1 billion in residential property sales.

Micah brings more than 25 years’ public and private sector experience across a broad range of industries including property, investments, policy analysis, trustee services and banking and finance. As National Director Micah has overall responsibility for the Government Property Services Team. Through this role he works closely with a range of Commonwealth Entities and our partners Ventia Property to deliver services under the Commonwealth Whole of Australian Government Contract.

Working with the broader GPS team, Micah has played a key role in the delivery of a number of market leading processes (including Joint Approaches to Market) for agencies including the ATO, DEWR, AEC, ASIC and ACCC. Through these processes Micah has delivered in excess of 500,000sqm of commercial space resulting in outstanding results including significant costs savings to the Commonwealth of $400+ million.
